The Dolciaria Valtellinese was born in 1980 from an ancient bakery already present since the beginning of the last century.

From the outset, the company has been committed to pursuing product quality and the search for traditions, objectives that have led to the rediscovery of those products that best represent the culinary history of Valtellina such as Bisciola Valtellina, cakes, biscuits, sweet and savoury snacks, breakfast cakes, bread substitutes and occasion cakes.

The company’s decades of experience in the confectionery sector, combined with the construction of its new production facility in 2002, mean that it is now able to offer the market a wide and popular range of sweet and savoury products.

Dolciaria Valtellinese is located on the green plains of Chiuro, a village surrounded by the Valtellina Alps in the province of Sondrio, where buckwheat was once grown. Dolciaria Valtellinese is a company that is closely linked to its local area and its traditions, as well as to the environment in general. For this reason, since 2011 the company has been self-producing and using clean renewable energy.
